about

I studied for a honours degree in silversmithing and jewellery design at the Glasgow School of Art. On graduating, I worked as a silversmith for three years in the workshops of Hamilton and InchesEdinburgh. After living on the Greek island of Zakynthos, I've come home to Cape Town (Green Point, to be exact!), where my heart has always been.

Inspired by the rich natural heritage and the sometimes forgotten creatures of South Africa, I am currently working in copper and brass, a two metal mediums I love for their subtlety, softness,  and ever changing colour is so closely linked to the African landscape. Each piece is hand pierced, and finished.

Continuing the idea of softness and a connection with the earth, all necklaces and bracelets are strung on cord and accented with beads. Colours vary, beads used vary, meaning that each pieces stands alone, a mini work of art.

Should you wish to purchase any of the designs above, as they are, or with your own orginal specifications, please get in touch.
